Rhythm Wrap Explorer
A light-up wristband at the concert, a tent lamp at the campsite. One light source, two different moments.
Light-up wristbands used at concerts and festivals are designed for a single moment of use and lose their function as soon as the event ends.
During camping and overnight stays, people are forced to carry additional lighting for their tents, increasing both physical load and product redundancy.
Early sketches explored the transformation between a wearable light and an ambient lamp, focusing on folding geometry, magnetic attachment points and light diffusion through a flexible silicone structure.
The design solves the problem by adapting one light source to different moments of the user journey, removing the need for separate devices through a flexible, expandable form.
